ABBOTABAD: Disheartened by tough life at the hostel, Abdul Mobin, a student of grade seven, committed suicide at his house, leaving diary entries as a testimony to the torture he faced at school, Express News reported.

Abdul Mobin’s father registered an FIR with the police against the teachers as well as the school and hostel administration.

According to sources, when Mobin came home for the weekend, he refused to return to school. When his mother told him he would have to go back, the child resorted to committing suicide by hanging himself.

“Why does this happen to me? I want to live but this is the end of my life,” read an entry in Mobin’s diary.

Mobin was admitted to the hostel three months ago where the warden, English teacher and other staff allegedly tortured the students.

Had it been happened in some madarsa, all liberal extremists would have popped out from their sleep, starting malign islam and ulema. However, i feel sorry for the guy. Hey, liberal extremists, what you say on this?

I fully agree with Ansari. Had it been madrasa, people would have blamed everything and anything that relates to religion.

But then, i should say, this is a very tragic. I hope people are made to watch the Indian movie “3 Idiots” & as well “Tare Zameen Par”.. Alas.. we dont change.. I even faced torture at school.. I used to go to school with a heavy heart and fear.

@ansari I second that. Our secular elite is only interested in cases that get them foreign aid.

What does this have to do with secular “extremists”?

Do we have to turn everything into an ideological battle? You people should be ashamed of yourself trying to earn brownie points off of it for your ideology.

It was also mentioned in his diary that he had to pay 5 rupees every time he would utter something in Urdu.
Has anyone noted the sharp increase in the suicide among students? One of the main reasons behind this is our increasing distance from religion. There was a time in university when I wanted to kill myself as I thought I would never graduate, but thanks to my religious and educated mother, she kept me going on. Increasing distance from God leads to lack of hope causing depression …

And its quite true. Had it been some Madrasa, there would have been 4 or 5 stories published in ET.

    @ Zain Abbas
You should be ashamed of not doing justice here. Have you never seen our liberal extremists behave? Why don’t you just hop behind a few articles on ET and see how these liberal fascists relate every bad thing to a Mullah, Zia Ul Haq, Islam, Taliban etc.

ATTENTION: He committed suicide, not a suicide attack. There is a difference, and you know what produced suicide attackersRecommend

    @ everyone here!

extremist liberals.. yes maybe! but for true liberals no matter if it is a madressa or a school IT DOES NOT MATTER! torture at school or madressa is unacceptable! teachers should be held accountable. however i must say its still better than the stuff that goes down in a madrassa since mostly those brain washed kids end up blowing themselves up and taking countless innocent people with them. either ways; stop hating on the liberals here please can’t you people unite for once and take stand against the culprits… in this case being the teachers, the administration of that school and the overall schooling system and the teachers training. stop pointing fingers at each other and actually look for solutions

Guys, two evils don’t cancel each other out and it doesn’t matter if the criminal is a stone-age Mullah or a ultra-modern English teacher, they are both criminals and must face punishment.

The problem lies at home… when the kids are emotionally supported at home then no trouble can force the kid to do what he did….lack of affection and emotional connection is destroying kids for life…

People the kid who committed suicide and the kid who is a suicide attac… the root cause is the same… in this case the kid surely didnt have emotional support from parents..in the case of suicide attacker inmost cases the kids dont have parents…when kids lose parents or their affection, the end result is disastrous….
