House catches fire: Three children die of severe burn injuries

Three children of a family were killed and a woman received burn injuries, when their mud house caught fire in Kanjad mardi area of Tehsil Wadh district of Khuzdar on Monday. According to Assistant Commissioner Naseer Ahmed Mirwani, the mud house of Mohammad Yousuf caught fire when his wife was preparing food by using firewood.

Fire engulfed the small mud house as result of which three children of Mohammad Yousuf and his wife received serious burn injuries. The injured children and the woman were taken to Civil Hospital Wadh by neighbours.

Three children succumbed to their injuries upon arrival. The deceased were identified as ten-year-old Hajra Bibi, eight-yearold Taj Bibi and six-year-old Juma Khan while the injured woman as Amna Bibi. According to hospital sources, the bodies were completely burnt and charred. The injured woman is in critical condition.
