SUKKUR: Trees were uprooted and billboards and houses damaged after a powerful dust storm struck Sukkur and its adjoining areas on Thursday. Light drizzle followed the storm, disrupting the power supply to the city. No casualties or injuries were reported. Experts said that the timing of the dust storm and the drizzle could prove harmful for the harvesting of mangoes, as the fruit could rot and fall to the ground due to the winds.
