A half win for science

Published: May 18, 2012

ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Dr Pervez Hoodbhoy’s article of May 14 “A half win for science”. The maulvis in Pakistan usually preach against donating organs. They term it as being against religion and, hence, a lot of Pakistanis do not even consider donating their organs after death. If people would stop listening to the maulvis and started thinking rationally and for themselves instead of letting the clergy think for them, our society would be much better.
