LAHORE: The government has apparently changed its mind on shuffling the Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Javed Iqbal and secretary Ministry of Narcotics Control Zafar Abbas Lak, at least for now, The Express Tribune has learnt.
Sources had said on Friday that the government had issued orders to switch the personnel in the two offices.
However, the Deputy Secretary of the Establishment Division, after due consultation with concerned officials, issued a notification late on Saturday which temporarily halts the transfers till such a time that further orders are issued.
