The PPP is not the victim

Letter May 10, 2012
The prime minister needs to act as the leader of the whole country and not of a particular ethnicity alone.

KARACHI: This is with reference to Amber Darr’s article “The PPP is not the victim” (May 9). It appears that it is time for the PPP to play the Sindh card again. The current government regime has shown repeatedly over the last four years that whenever there are judgements or verdicts that it does not agree with, it immediately starts implementing the policy of divide and rule.

It is doing this again by making threats of dividing Punjab. This attitude and mentality must be condemned. The prime minister needs to act as the leader of the whole country and not of a particular ethnicity alone.
