LAHORE: The city district government will soon start its Responsible Citizens (RC) project and also start a helpline as a part of this project. The announcement came on Tuesday during a meeting presided over by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Noorul Amin Mengal. The meeting was held to discuss issues regarding e-governance. The DCO said that the RC project will enable the citizens to register complaints about adulteration, prices, nuisance at weddings, land grab and roads in need of patch work. He said that a strategy was being evolved to deal with such complaints at the union council level. He said the complainants will be informed about the progress of their complaints by keeping their names confidential.
