Hajj operation
The PPP must be more careful because this is an election year and it cannot afford any more lapses or controversies.
SIALKOT: One hopes that unlike the last four Hajj operations, this year things will improve as per the claims of Minister of Religious Affairs Khursheed Shah. The onus lies not only on the Ministry of Religious Affairs, but also on the airlines, which carry the pilgrims. Last year, an artificial shortage of seats on Hajj flights was created, which resulted in pilgrims being fleeced. While the airlines did not really benefit from this practice, they still could have done more to make life easier for the pilgrims.
The PPP must be more careful because this is an election year and it cannot afford any more lapses or controversies. This government already has a very poor track record vis-a-vis Hajj operations.

Last year PIA Marketing led by its Director Imran placed thousands of seats at the disposal of few travel agents on discounted non-peak season fares, for travel during Hajj and Umra when ticket prices escalate by over 50%. This created an atrificial shortage which opportunity was exploited by travel agents who charged a premium for selling these seats to eager muslims yearning to travel to Mecca and Madinah.

Given track record of Ahmed Mukhtar and Gillani family, the same team of corrupt PIA marketing executives who with their nexus of travel agents/tour operators will be brought back for the last RIP-OFF before curtains fall for this government.

It is such a positive development in sindh as Mumtaz bhutto joins PML-N. This is positive in the sense that those dirty minded people who are bussy creating differences between the innocent people of both punjab and Sindh and creating hatred for their specific political gain will be hopefully impeded.
PPP leadership exlpoit the helpless fued in sindh in the name of bhotto and benazir and let no other party enter sindh. strangely the same party is getting support from all the other provinces.
They for just a minute do not think if the same narrow-mindedness takes place in other provinces then what of PPP.
