KARACHI: The records of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park’s accounts are still missing while no arrests have been made related to the Anti Corruption Establishment’s (ACE) investigation into the alleged corruption in the park’s development. According to the ACE Director Javed Baloch, the department has contacted the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation administrator, Mohammad Hussain Syed, who said that he would get back to ACE on Monday with information on the record’s location. “We will be tracing Liaquat Ali Khan and arresting him,” Baloch said. As far as the fate of the 21 employees implicated by ACE goes, “the investigation will now start and we will see who was involved. Whoever’s role is cognisable will be arrested, the others will be produced as witnesses.” Baloch said the entire investigation would take a month.
