Cricket: Junaid bags win for Metropolitan club

It was a 108-run win against Qasba Sports in their Daud Khan Memorial Cricket tournament match.

KARACHI: Junaid Uddin picked up four wickets to guide Metropolitan Cricket Club to a 108-run win against Qasba Sports in their Daud Khan Memorial Cricket tournament match. Set a target of 244, Qasba failed to tackle Junaid as he gave away just 16 runs for four wickets while Ziaur Rehman top-scored with 54. Earlier, Metropolitan had scored 243 for nine off 40 overs as Yasir Haider and Saifur Rehman made half-centuries. In another match, Orangi Muslim Cricket Club defeated Paposh Nagar by 45 runs. Batting first, Orangi Muslim posted 317 for seven off 40 overs. Imran Taj top-scored with 84. In reply, Paposh Nagar were all out for 272 in 34 overs.
