Colours Of Democracy: 24 painters donate work to parliament

ISLAMABAD: The painting exhibition titled ‘Colours of Democracy’ was inaugurated on Thursday at Parliament House, displaying the works of 24 leading painters depicting the country’s maturing parliamentary democracy. Speaker of the National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza inaugurated the event held to commemorate the completion of the fourth parliamentary year of the present National Assembly. All 24 artists gifted their art, worth Rs1.65 million, to the parliament.
