Pakistan conducts successful flight test of Hatf-8 missile

Pakistan conducted a successful flight test of the indigenously developed air launched cruise missile, Hatf-8 on Friday. The test of the nuclear-capable missile was conducted as part of the continuous process of improving the technical parameters of the weapon system. The Ra’ad missile, with a range of over 350 kilometres, has been developed exclusively for launch from aerial platforms.

A new ‘Miss Pakistan’ emerges

She is the bearer of the title ‘Miss Pakistan’, and held a press conference in Karachi this week to announce she had tied the knot with her maternal cousin. But the obvious question on everyone’s minds was: how is she ‘Miss Pakistan’ when the country does not have an official beauty pageant?

94-yr-old Dadi Janki comes home after 60yrs

In a simple, white sari and a modest but strong countenance, 94-year-old Dadi Janki, the spiritual guide of the Hindu caste Brahma Kumari, came back home after 60 years.

In her first visit to Karachi from Hyderabad Deccan, she spoke to a hall of almost 500 Muslims and Hindus, uniting them all under one roof.
