Targeted Killing: Soldier among two killed in shooting

An FIR has been lodged against the attackers.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Two men, including a soldier, were killed and five others were injured when unidentified men opened fire on a van in Dera Ghazi Khan on Saturday. The van, travelling from Loralai in Balochistan to Dera Ghazi Khan, was attacked from a hill near Radkan. Husnain Majeed, a soldier, and Special Branch official Mirza Taqi Hussain were killed in the firing. Five people – Azizullah, Fehmeed Umar, Allah Ditta, Rab Nawaz and Pervaiz – were injured. They were taken to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital where doctors treating them said Pervaiz and Azizullah were in critical condition. District police officer Abdullah Khan Afridi oversaw the rescue operations. An FIR has been lodged against the attackers.
