GUJRANWALA: Obama, the ox who had earlier defeated opponent Manmohan Singh, went up on sale for Rs500,000 on Wednesday, Express News has reported.

The winning ox’s daily diet consisted of 5kg milk and 3kg butter, owner Bashir Sindhi had earlier told The Express Tribune. The ox fight was arranged for entertainment purposes in the Garchak area of Gujranwala, and special invites were sent to people around the city to attend the event.

The competition, which witnessed a large number of spectators, was won by Obama after Manmohan Singh failed to withstand his opponent’s forceful blows.

Waseem Sindhi, the owner of Manmohan Singh and son of Bashir, has been advised by veterinary doctors to not let his ox indulge in any fight for six months.
