During today’s hearing, the Attorney General of Pakistan informed the court that inquiry reports from Mehran Bank and Habib bank have been misplaced.
The three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, expressed concern over the misplaced reports and directed the attorney general to convene a meeting with the responsible figure heads regarding the reports.
The attorney general has been directed to trace the documents and submit a written reply to the court.
The chief justice stated that a criminal proceedings case would be filed along with an FIR against the missing documents if they are not submitted in court.

Don't just parrot standard PTI lines without understanding the context. This case referes to the fact that ISI gave money to several political parties including PML-N in order to throw PPP out. Why in the world would PPP help in getting documents to disappear when in fact the case is tryng to prove that PPP was victimised and that there was overreach by agencies?
To show the selective justic the PCO SC should make the current govt responsible for 18 years old case that they were sitting on and put the govt officials in jail. That would solve two problems. The real culprits would be free and the elected leaders finally in jail. When the courts sit on such imp cases like Rehman Commission, ZAB hanging, the facts disappear and people die. Isn't that the very reason to sit on such cases and their findings for so long?
When people can go "missing" with impunity, what fate can you expect of "files".

The first FIR, if at all, must be registered against the supreme judiciary, for keeping on-hold such an important case for a good 18 or so years.
Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha. How any one in the wide world can take Pakistan seriously.All the important papers go missing inexplicably!people go missing! Then when you argue re evidence against Hafeez Saeed and other terrorists, how any one will believe you. Anyway, does that matter any more when they can walk in take their comrades away in a procession while jail authorities are conveniently on leave.Why doesn't whole country go on collective leave? That will certainly help with power saving(No pun intended)!

If anything which is not missing are files and reports of the ruling party. I wonder why these judges don't feel or realize that they are being badly exposed by going after only against the leadership of the People's Party. Does it takes to obtain a PhD Degree to know who is who in our country?????

People who openly made mockery of the system were never punished. Society and people were looking up to the CJP for some brave decisions but none was to come.
No examples were made out of those caught in fraud and corruption! Amin Faheem, Dasti, karachi target killing, rental power etc.
Judges remain aloof of the misery the present situation has put people in. Sad and very sad.

Rulers are more at risk.ZAB was hanged in what is known as judicial murder.Nawaz Sharif saved only by grace of Saudis whom Pak can not annoy.So Musharaf is clearly at risk.
@Not me, exactly.Even the SC is discriminating.Look at the lawmakers' dual citizenship case. The Chief justice showed RESPECT to Rehman Malik & wife of HH. Thus even in the eyes of law not every one is equal.

Missing money from the Bank, missing people, and now to top it all missing documents. Will the Court show the same zeal in going after the holy cows as it is showing in going after PPP leaders ?
