Football: Rossi’s operation a success

Rossi has said an operation to repair a torn cruciate knee ligament in the US has been a success.

ROME: Former Manchester United player Giuseppe Rossi has said an operation to repair a torn cruciate knee ligament in the US has been a success. The American-born Italy and Villarreal forward announced the news on his Twitter account. He is expected to be out for six months and will miss the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine in June.
