ISLAMABAD: A woman was killed and her husband injured in a road accident on Grand Trunk Road on Saturday. According to the Rawat police, the accident took place when an oil tanker (LSD-9499) hit a Honda City (LZP-3852) while taking a U-turn, injuring Muhammad Arshad and his wife Najma. Later, Najma died of injuries. The driver, however, managed to escape from the scene. The police have registered a case and but not yet arrested the driver.
