Shahbaz questioned why no voice was raised in favour of Bahawalpur province. Calling it an injustice, Punjab Chief Minister said the Bahawalpur's provincial status should had been restored immediately.

He further said that PML-N would not let “looters” to usurp the rights of the people of Punjab.

“The day of judgement for those who have plundered national wealth is near and soon they will be held accountable by the nation,” Shahbaz said, adding that people will also recover the looted money.

These shareef's will never support South Punjab as a province. The reason they are supporting Bahawalpur province is to prolong and dilute the issue. They are the worst enemies of South Punjab and have never done anything for it. The only work done has been initially by Chaudhary brothers and now by Gillani. Also their lust of making everything in Lahore has destroyed the city of Lahore because of over population, traffic etc. Why should someone form the entire province come to Lahore for jobs, education, health. Shame on shareefs
