ABBOTTABAD/ KARACHI: Criticising the nepotism in the selection of Bilawal Bhutto as party chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP),  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that Bilawal has no knowledge of the difficulties faced by Pakistan and cannot even speak Urdu properly.

Speaking at a rally in Abbottabad on Sunday, Imran categorically differentiated PTI from other mainstream political parties, saying heads of parties like the PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are family members.

“In PPP, Zardari brought forward a piece of paper [will] and claimed that his late wife Benazir Bhutto chose him as her successor. Hence he became the party leader,” Imran criticised.

Shifting his criticism to PML-N, Imran said that to become a party leader in Nawaz-league, one has to have “Sharif” as its surname.

Coming back to PTI’s recently introduced method of electing party leaders, Imran said PTI will give opportunity to its members to choose their own leaders, who will then represent them once in power.

“This will give a chance to young people to become leaders,” Imran said.

He added that PTI members can also elect leaders to the highest party position, the one currently held by himself.

The little Bhutto talks more sense than Imran Khan. Much more practical than inconsistent Imran Khan.
