GHALLANAI: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for blowing up a girls’ school in Safi sub district of Mohmand Agency on Thursday night, according to security officials.

The two-room primary school was located in Malak Zargar Adeenkhel village. A senior official in the political administration of the agency confirmed the incident, asserting that one of the school’s rooms was completely destroyed in the attack.

According to a resident, furniture from a boys’ middle school which had been bombed earlier was also kept in the school. Safi remains one of the most affected areas of Mohmand where 46 institutions have already been destroyed. Assistant Education Officer Dast Ali told The Express Tribune that about 220 tents are required to temporarily run schooling activities in the agency.

This is how Islam is being preached in Tribal Areas in Pakistan. It would be better to declare Jihad against TTP.
