Militancy: Four bodies recovered from Kalakhel

Officials believe that they were executed by the militants in the area.

PESHAWAR: Four bodies, bearing signs of torture, were recovered from the Kalakhel area on the confluence of Khyber Agency  and Frontier Region (FR) Kohat. Officials believe that they were executed by the militants in the area. Senior Official of the Political Administration of Khyber Agency said that bodies of the four people, which included a father and son and a watchman of the wild life department, were recovered from the Jarajar Mountain. “Their hands were tied before they were shot,” said the official. A member of the peace militia of Kalakhel said that the bodies were recovered from the sight after firing was heard from the mountain, adjacent to their village. The men were identified as Amal Sher, Nawab Khan, his son Ayaz and Akhtar Muhammad, an official of the Forest Department.
