PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar said on Saturday that agriculture was an important sector both from meeting food requirements and economic development. Talking to representatives of the farming community from Mardan and Peshawar at the Governor House, he said a vast majority of the people was directly and indirectly dependent upon the agriculture. The governor said that keeping in view the significance of farming in the overall socio-economic uplift and ensuring food supply, no effort would be spared to resolve the grievances of all stakeholders.
