It is important to be no 1: Priyanka Chopra.

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, one of the biggest stars in the film industry, says it is very important to be ahead of the game.

“It is very important to be on top. One wishes to come first in every race whether in school, professionally or anywhere else and in this competitive world, you have to be number one,” says Chopra.

It seems like the actor has realised that to stay in the winning slot, a person, especially an actor, needs to keep trying new things and never fail to surprise people with the variety you can bring to the table. Chopra is working hard and is constantly busy with projects. The actor’s last two films, Don 2 and Agneepath, are already enjoying blockbuster success, she has a music album in the pipeline and Chopra is looking forward to the release of her upcoming films.

According to hindustantimes.com, the actor — who is currently spending time in Los Angeles writing and recording her debut album — is working on Krrish 3 and Anurag Basu’s Barfii. “I play an autistic character in Barfii. It is one of my most memorable film experiences. People may think it is a very serious film, but it is a funny and a sweet film,” the website quoted the actor as saying.

Apart from being famous for her versatile acting skills, Chopra is also known for her style statement and for her humility towards her long list of achievements. The actor, who recently beat her contemporaries to win the title of India’s Glam Diva by a TV show, says that for her, actors Marilyn Monroe and Madhuri Dixit are the real divas.

When asked who in her opinion is the number one contemporary actress in Bollywood, Chopra states that Bollywood trends change on a daily basis and it is extremely difficult to judge who the number one actress is these days; “It is impossible to decide who is number one or number two. An actor tends to do three to four films a year and all those films can’t be a hit,” she said.

Yes she is indeed brainy , apart from the beauty blessed by her parents' genes and the creator, and thankfully not bimbo like very many actress of her ilk. Few surgeries here and there not withstanding to enhance her vital statics and needless to say her fake smile which she has perfected, may be from aishwarya rai.. However wish to recall an interview read few years ago by manisha koirala who herself is a junk now that an actress' shelf life is 8-10 years at the most, provided she is single (not married). Raveena tandon, sonali bendre, madhuri dixit, karshima kappor, manisha koirala used to rule the roost till late 90's early 2000's, then came the brigade of kareena, lara dutta, neha dhupia, shilpa. now it is the turn of deepika, katrina, anushka etc, I suppose the expiry date of kareena, priyanka is nearing very fast Rgds
