KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday rejected the report submitted by the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) aimed at reordering ties with the US. The PTI rejected the document as a “farce” and an insult to the wishes of the people to extricate themselves from US-backed war on terror which has become a “war on terror for Pakistanis,” said a statement issued by the party’s International Affairs Advisor Dr Shireen Mazari. The PTI will not accept any compromise on the issue of drone strikes and resumption of Nato supplies, added the statement. Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had also snubbed the report, saying that it had nothing “extraordinary” in it.
