PESHAWAR: Former Pakistani ambassador to Afghanistan Rustam Shah Mohmand said on Sunday that the positive intent of regional countries and a multi-ethnic democratic government is the key to ending conflict and bringing peace to Afghanistan as well as the region. “The US and its allies have spent $57 billion to date for the socio-economic development of Afghanistan but little can be seen on ground,” he added.
