HARIPUR: A teenaged girl was injured in an acid attack in Naseem Town on Tuesday. According to the local police, the girl was on her way back home with her mother when Liaquat of Chohar Sharif village intercepted them near the District Headquarters Hospital and threw acid on the girl. The girl told the police her face remained unharmed but her torso has been badly burnt. Police have registered a case under the relevant laws and launched a manhunt for the accused.
