Balochistan unrest: Six killed in different acts of violence

Unidentified men also opened fire on one Hidayatullah in Rekhni area of Barkhan.

At least six people were killed and three security personnel were wounded in separate incidents of firing and landmine explosions in Balochistan on Thursday.


According to reports, unidentified armed men allegedly attacked Frontier Corps (FC) in Pir Soriarea of Dera Bugti with sophisticated weapons, injuring two security personnel.  The FC men returned fire, killing three alleged attackers.

In another incident, a person was killed in Mangochi area of Khuzdar district.

However, the motive behind the killing could not be ascertained.

Unidentified men also opened fire on one Hidayatullah in Rekhni area of Barkhan.

Meanwhile, two dead bodies were recovered from Pishin and Kech districts. The body found from Yaro area of Pishin was identified as Ajab Khan while the one recovered from Kech was identified as Abdul Rehman.

However, the motives of these murders could not be known.
