LAHORE: Civil society members held a peaceful protest at Liberty Chowk on Sunday to highlight the atrocities in Balochistan. Senior citizens, doctors, and other professionals took part in the rally to show their solidarity with the Baloch people. The protest was arranged under the banner of Concerned Citizen Forum. While talking to The Express Tribune, Secretary Concerned Citizen Forum Dr Sohail Zafar said there is no rule of law in the country. “Politicians, bureaucrats, army officials and the judiciary are equally responsible for this mess,” he said, adding “The country can not be weakened in a day or two. Consecutive week governments have increased the problem.” He said people at the helm of affairs are treating Baloch people like they once treated Bengalis.
