Development schemes: MQM MPAs to get Rs20m each

KARACHI:
The Sindh government on Wednesday announced to give an additional sum of Rs20 million to each woman MPA of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for the development schemes in their areas. The MPAs were given Rs40 million in the last fiscal year. The total amount being given now is Rs60 million per MPA. This way a sum of Rs80 million will be spent by each woman MPA till the end of the current fiscal year.
MQM MPA Heer Ismail Soho said that the chief minister used his discretionary powers to give them the funds. The party’s MPAs met with the chief minister on Wednesday. Zareen Majeed, Heer Sohu, Naheed Begum, Sabira Begum and Husna Aftab attended it with other members. During the meeting, the chief minister directed the women lawmakers to submit their development schemes without any delay so that they can begin before the current fiscal year ended.

Don’t you think the “money machine”(Karachi) of Pakistan that put 7 out of 10 bread on Each Pak Citizen’s table (one way or the other) should be well-greased & mantained? We all know the Country comes to a halt if Karachi slows down. These MNAs are given the post due to their diligence & hard work. Proof: if subsidies are reaching to & from Punjab & KP these MNAs are doing their job well. Barely 10% of Pak population Karachi is producing 70% of national bread. Watch the Shipyards, the fisheries, the oil refineries, the construction companies, the export industries, the manufacturing & refurbishing industries that never stops.
The dress/suits/shoes/jewelry/meat/food/wood/metal/plastic/medicine/pipe/glass/ceramic/cement workers working around the clock in three shifts beside the armies of doctors, nurses, dentists, drivers, skilled & unskilled laborers. The money spent on a machine like this is never wasted because it return several fold to sustain the whole nation.
