Bank al Habib: Saver account promotes savings

KARACHI: Bank AL Habib has said that its Monthly Saver Account is geared towards promoting the habit of saving and offers monthly returns and no restriction on withdrawals. In a press release, the bank says the profit is calculated at the rate of 8% per annum on balances of Rs100,000 and above and at 5% per annum on balances below Rs100,000 based on minimum monthly balance. Free ATM Card and loan up to 90% of deposit amount is also offered. At present, Bank AL Habib has a network of 351 branches and sub-branches in 98 cities including a wholesale branch in Bahrain.
