KARACHI:

The employees of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will go on strike from Monday (today) to protest against the contractual nature of their jobs since NADRA’s establishment in 2000.

The decision to this effect was taken on Sunday at the executive body meeting of the All Pakistan Nadra Employees Welfare Association, which was attended by representatives of employee unions from all four provinces.

President of All Pakistan Nadra Employees Welfare Association Sindh, Raza Khan, said that they will continue their strike until all the 14,700 NADRA employees are not regularised.
