QUETTA: The Balochistan government strongly refuted a report published in certain newspapers claiming that provincial ministers are involved in kidnappings for ransom and the smuggling of goods in the province. Reacting to the allegations, the government spokesman in his statement said all such reports were fabricated and baseless. The spokesman said that the government is undertaking efforts to eradicate kidnappings in Balochistan. He further added that blaming the provincial government for the current deteriorating law and order situation of Balochistan is unfair, and that the situation was worse when present government came to office.
