Nasir Jamshed hit a whirlwind, unbeaten 86 to guide Chittagong Kings past the 172-run total as they recorded a six-wicket win over Khulna Royal Bengals at the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

Jamshed hit 10 fours and three sixes in his 47-ball knock as Kings faced little trouble in overhauling the target. Earlier, West Indies international Shivnarine Chanderpaul stroked an impressive 59 as Bengals posted a competitive total.

Gladiators win by six wickets

Disciplined bowling and an impressive innings from Anamul Haque inspired Dhaka Gladiators to a seven-wicket win over Sylhet Royals.

Mashrafe Mortaza claimed two wickets in the Royals innings, which included four run-outs, as Gladiators restricted their opposition to a below-par 124. Naeem Islam was the lone batsman offering resistance with a 30-run knock.

In reply, Haque managed a 39-ball 48 as Dhaka overhauled the total in the 19th over.

BPL is a good place for domestic high performers to earn good money. IPL on the other hand seems black and white without Pakistan.
