KARACHI: US Ambassador Cameron P Munter hosted a sports event at the house of the US Consul General William Martin for 60 hearing-impaired students from the Deaf Reach School.

The Deaf Reach School supports more than 800 hearing-impaired students from low-income backgrounds in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Lahore.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Munter said that he was inspired by the children and the work of the school which was helping to create opportunities for so many young people. “Projects such as this one can also lay the foundation for relationships between the Americans and Pakistanis,” he said.
