MQM urges suo motu notice against Bilour's alleged comments on involvement in target killings.

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has urged the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of Awami National Party (ANP) senior leader Ilyas Bilour’s comments over his alleged role in target killings in Karachi, Express News reported.

Bilour, who is also a senator, allegedly made these comments during a private television show on Thursday night, following which the MQM convened an emergency meeting of its Raabta Committees in Karachi and London.

The meeting appealed to the SC to take suo motu notice of Bilour’s alleged comments.

Earlier, talking to Express News, MQM leader and Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed reiterated his party’s stance, saying that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry should take suo motu notice based on Bilour’s comments and hold him accountable.

He added that the MQM was analysing the senator’s statements from every angle and will share their final stance on the situation with the media.

Curb your hatred for others for a while and let’s start justice somewhere! If this man is convicted I can tell you the rest will stop!

I dont know why Pakistani reporters do such a poor job in reporting. They never give the main background information; in this case Bilour’s statement. They assume that the reader has nothing else to do but to keep up with every piece of information on an ongoing basis. Very frustrating.

The Sort of Babarian attitude ANP has just shown reveals that ANP is frustrated because ANP knows that the upcoming Election will wipe out ANP from the National Scene, and it is believed that ANP would not be able to win even 10% of seats earlier captured by ANP in Election 2008.

Can anybody name any balanced minded politician in ANP.

SC has to take strong action on the saying of Mr. Ilyas Bilor, it should ot be taken as only slip of tongue.
