RATODERO: The Pakistan Paramedical Staff Association has demanded the transfer of the medical superintendent of Chandka Medical College Hospital to end what they say is unrest among the nurses and paramedics. The hospital’s association’s president, Shahi Khan Jagirani, and other office-bearers said that despite protests and strikes against him, the government has not taken any action. They demanded an audit of the Patient Welfare Fund, alleging that at least Rs40 million has been embezzled.
