Former Australia seamer Nathan Bracken is suing Cricket Australia (CA), alleging negligence for failing to adequately deal with a knee injury that ‘ruined’ his career.
Bracken, who played five Tests and 116 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia, is arguing that CA’s doctors and lead physiotherapist could not provide ‘competent’ medical advice to elite athletes. He says CA failed to ‘investigate, diagnose and treat’ a right knee injury suffered the day before an ODI against England in January 2007.
Bracken alleges that failure to refer him for further examination by a specialist orthopaedic surgeon and to restrict him from training and playing ruined his career.

CA always does this, they should learn from PCB. Such a non serious attitude does not augur well for the Australian team, we are so lucky to have thorough professionals like Ijaz Butt and Dr Naseem and Zaka Ashaf. Win for PCB
