Lying to lawmakers: Privilege motion against Sanaullah

Raja Riaz submitted privilege motion to the assembly secretariat against Rana Sanaullah Khan for “lying to the House”.

LAHORE: The leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Raja Riaz, on Tuesday, submitted privilege motion to the assembly secretariat against Law and Parliamentary Affair Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan for “lying to the House”. According to the motion, Sanaullah had promised the House on Friday that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would come to the assembly on Monday to answer members’ questions about the deaths caused by IsoTab. However, Sharif did not attend the last day of the session.
