LAS VEGAS: Manny Pacquiao has agreed to fight Timothy Bradley on June 9 subject to the American’s agreement, according to the former’s promoter Bob Arum. Reigning WBO light-welterweight champion Bradley was on a shortlist of three fighters – including Lamont Peterson and Juan Manuel Marquez – to fight Pacquiao following failed negotiations for a fight with Floyd Mayweather. Arum confirmed that Bradley is now the favourite to fight the Filipino for his WBO welterweight crown. “It’s subject to us reaching the appropriate [financial] deal,” said Arum. “I’m very optimistic I’ll get it done.”
