LAHORE: Raza Rumi’s article provides excellent insight into the issue surrounding our national language. Despite the seemingly endless debate in Pakistan, on whether Urdu is to be a national language and the whole issue of it being the sole medium of instruction in schools, no one can deny the fact that it is very useful and widely acceptable by most Pakistanis as a means of communication.
