I feel the collection is a lot more personal this year, Nadia Hussain.

The look for 2012: “I feel the collection is a lot more personal this year. Last year we experimented more but played it safe this time around. The colours we have used, the embroidery that has been done — all of this caters to my taste,” says Hussain.

Carrying forward from 2011: There is just one similarity in the 2011 and 2012 collection; a multicoloured motif.

Inspirations:

There is no one inspiration; we have used a mix of geometric designs, motifs, different colour combinations in which we have used muted matt tones but vibrant shades as well.

Add ons:

We are providing extra cloth for panels and additionally there is embroidery on either the front or back of the kameez, the daaman, neckline or sleeves. We also have chiffon dupattas to go with
the joras.

Colours: Vibrant colors, red, pinks and yellows

Designs: 13 designers with a maximum of two colours being used

Price:Rs3,300 to Rs4,300
