Discussion on US exit strategy from Afghanistan held here at Islamabad Policy Research Institute

A discussion on US exit strategy from Afghanistan and its impact on regional security was held here at Islamabad Policy Research Institute, said in a press release issued by the institute on Thursday.


The discussion, attended by Mir Shahid Aslanov, the third secretary of Uzbekistan embassy, revolved around the prospects of sustainable peace in Afghanistan. Participants agreed that the regional countries have the potential to play a constructive role in the country and they want to see withdrawal of foreign forces to bring stability in Afghanistan.
