PESHAWAR: To improve the educational standard in conflict-hit areas, the government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has rehabilitated seven government schools in Upper Dir. These schools were damaged during the wave of militancy in Dir Upper district.  The Malakand Development Programme spokesman said furniture and basic equipment were also provided to the newly rehabilitated schools to provide students a better environment. In addition to construction of boundary walls, classrooms, restrooms and verandas, footpaths were also constructed or repaired to facilitate students and teachers.
