LIBREVILLE: Tunisia’s new generation of players are eager to make a telling impact at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, said captain Karim Haggui. The latest version of the Carthage Eagles began its quest by winning their opening Group C game against Morocco 2-1. “We deserved to win as we played a really good game,” said Haggui. “Tunisia’s new generation wants to write its own history and looking at the potential of the young players we’ve got I hope we can write it at this Nations Cup.” Meanwhile, Gabon began with a 2-0 win over Niger.
