Abbottabad trailed Karachi by three runs after reaching 162 for five in their second-innings at close on day two of the Inter-Region under-23 Three-Day Cricket Tournament, according to a press release from the Pakistan Cricket Board. Abid Khan’s 70 and Khalilullah’s unbeaten 55 kept Abbottabad in the game following a first-innings collapse in which the team was bowled out for 114. Earlier, Karachi were bowled out for 279 after resuming on their first-innings’ overnight score of 146 for four. Muhammad Zohaib hit 102 and Jahangir Khan chipped in with 80 to secure a sizeable lead for Karachi.
