Recognition: Former vice chancellor made professor emeritus

LAHORE: Dr Bushra Mateen, the founding LCWU vice chancellor, was made professor emeritus on Friday. The announcement was made at the convocation ceremony.

Dr Mateen has served the education sector for over four decades – 21 years at the LCWU. She holds a doctorate from Queen Mary College, London.

She retired as the vice chancellor of the LCWU in December 2010 after serving in the office for eight years.
