LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday ordered that summons to PPP Senator Babar Awan, for February 6, be issued through the press. A court official had earlier informed Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan that Babar Awan’s offices in Islamabad and Lahore had been found closed. On the last hearing, the judge had directed senior civil judges in Lahore and Islamabad to deliver the summons to Awan in a contempt of court petition. Advocate Afaq Ahmad filed the petition saying that Awan had uttered derogatory remarks against the Supreme Court on several occasions.

Why this man only? Prejudice and bias degrades. Self righteous are responsible for the dismemberment of country, internal fragmentation, poor economy, political instability, discrimination against nationalities and cultural degradation. Mercifully, tide has been turned against degraders.
