KARACHI:

National Tariff Commission Chairman Prince Abbas Khan visited Indus Motor Company recently during which he inspected manufacturing facilities and reviewed the company’s progress, says a press release.

Khan noted the significant contributions made by the automobile industry, particularly Indus Motor, to transfer of technology, local manufacturing of vehicle components and increasing employment.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by the auto industry, he assured them of assistance in putting the proposal before the government about used car imports and mis-deceleration and under-invoicing of auto parts.

This reminds me of Adam Revo. Pakistan's very own homemade brand. Had it survived, car prices would have been more competitive today. Thank to Shaukat Aziz and his corruption, we dont have that option.
