Indian republic day: Kashmiris to observe black day on Jan 26

Protests and rallies are scheduled to take place on January 26 in all 10 districts of Azad Kashmir.

MIRPUR: The people of Kashmir dwelling on either side of the Line of Control will observe Indian Republic Day, falling on January 26, as a black day to invite the attention of the international community towards the Kashmir conflict. Kashmiris observe Indian Republic day as a Black Day every year in order to apprise the world of human rights violations in the region. Protests and rallies are scheduled to take place on January 26 in all 10 districts of Azad Kashmir.
