LAHORE: Justice Najmul Hasan of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday refused to hear the Sapna Khan case citing personal reasons. Earlier, another LHC judge, Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq, had refused to hear the petition challenging the orders of a sessions court in the case.

He observed that he was not inclined to hear the case due to personal reasons and referred it to the chief justice for fixing it before another bench. Petitioner Missal Khan had requested the court to direct the SHO concerned to register another case against Former Punjab chief minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa for producing fake documents to claim that he (the petitioner) was not Sapna’s father. According to Missal Khan, Khosa kidnapped and killed Sapna, who has been missing since June last year. Various petitions regarding the case are in the courts.

PML (N)’ is to look this matter seriously’ other wise the impression of party is going to be harmed. Why the Chief Minister of Punjab , Mian shahbaz sharif ,is not taking the notice of this case?

Clearly the judges do not believe they can live a life free from intimidation or revenge. At the very least, this girl should be presented before the court (if alive, still). Are we going to let ‘away’ an influential politician? Not being judgmental – however something doesn’t seem right!Recommend
